As I write this, I’m actually listening to Sir GuWop of Atlanta. I’ve had to think about this and actually pinpoint where I first started listening to “trap rap” and my discovery of this awesome sub-genre of rap takes place in the early 2000’s with music from T.I., Clipse, and even Cam’ron (KILLA).
